Vegetarians of AcadieA little surfing on the Web and I came up with a lot of traditional Acadian recipes. Pork is ubiquitous and even present in some desserts, a little disconcerting for a vegetarian like me and although there are meat analogs in the supermarket like Tofurkey but, alas, no Toporky. Pirate's feastMy lobster roll was also excellent, a generous serving with lots of big meaty chunks, hardly any mayo, so the taste of the lobster came through. There was lettuce on the bun, too. I always appreciate a little green. Read more Pirate's feast... |
